Seasons Greetings from Singapore!

'Tis the season for many things, one of them being a break from chronology! While we won't actually be covering Singapore for a while yet here on 20YH, Singapore is in fact where we find ourselves this year for Christmas. We have the good fortune of crashing with a friend from Steph's grad school days, so although there is no snow here, and we can't be with our families, this is by far the best scenario we could have dreamed.

While we won’t actually be covering Singapore for a while yet here on 20YH, Singapore is in fact where we find ourselves this year for Christmas. We have the good fortune of crashing with a friend from Steph’s grad school days, so although there is no snow here, and we can’t be with our families, this is by far the best scenario we could have dreamed.

To all our family, friends, and our devoted readers, whatever you may be celebrating in whichever time zone, we wish you all the happiest of holidays and a very happy 2013. We’ll continue to work tirelessly to keep new content coming, as we’re enjoying traveling & blogging far too much to take a break from it. Consider that our Christmas gift to you!

Also, there is this. We recorded this video at the famous Raffles Hotel on our way to seek out an ill-fated Singapore Sling. We didn’t get the drink (at S$26 a pop, who can blame us?!?) but this is probably better.

I hope you and your family have a wonderful holiday all the way over there in Texas (I suspect the weather must be similarly balmy…)! And we are happy to hear you are still reading and enjoying our tales!

As far as the blog is concerned… China. But as far as real life is concerned… I guess you’ll just have to wait and see! 😉
